About The Author
	Sterling Whitaker is a Nashville-based musician and music journalist. Born in El Paso, Texas in 1969, Whitaker lived in Minneapolis and Atlanta before settling in Music City in 1996.      A veteran of the progressive rock group Roots of Consciousness, Whitaker currently writes and performs as half of the acoustic duo Beggarz Opera.      In 2003 Whitaker published his first book, Unsung Heroes of Rock Guitar. The Grand Delusion is Whitaker's second book. The author is planning to follow up with a biography of Van Halen.
